In the lull of soap-making

And lest you think the soap-making has stopped, let me assure you it hasn’t.  It has slowed, but that’s mostly due to a soap binge that has all of my drying space currently booked up.

So what am I doing in the meantime?

This project is a seven and a half yard striped warp that will make seven towels using different techniques on each towel. (plain weave, twill, stripes of every- well – stripe)

The next steps, which could happen tomorrow, will involve threading the heddles and sleying the reed.

Then it will be time to weave.  Exciting times.
