February means groundhogs, hearts, and apparently snow every five days. It also means the yearly installment of The Loopy Ewe Valentine’s kit. There’s always a lot of interest in this one, and when Sheri said she picked this dyer from one of the submissions for her sock club, I think speculation soared. Sheri was kind enough to leak a spoiler a little while before the kit went live. I liked it, but it wasn’t something I absolute had to buy that second from work. (not that I ever buy yarn from work *whistles innocently*) I wasn’t going to be home until much later that night, but it was Ramblin made sure his girl got a kit.
And here is another picture without the wrapper, so you can see more of the pinky goodness.
The yarn is Fiesta Baby Boom, with a hand-dyed, hand-sewn project bag from 3am Enchantments, and the cutest post-it note holder. No pattern this year, but that just means the fun of searching Ravelry for inspiration.
Ramblin, btw, attained Loopy Groupie status with that order. He’s thrilled. :)
