New month, hopefully a good one

Well, things lightened up at work just in time for us to go into bug-out mode.  We’ve known for  a while that we would be moving from our falling-down building into a newly-renovated space and have got to watch the renovations happen just down the street from our current location.  We’ve emerged from our spring semester stupor to realize they are laying carpet.  That just leaves cubicle walls, and then we’ve got to move!

So, much of the last few days has been spent going through storage stuff and dividing it between keeping, keeping in our storage, keeping in university storage, tossing, and shredding.  Tossing is my favorite.  We’ve just had so much junk for so long, and a move is an excellent opportunity to take a hard look at what you’re doing and determine if it really needs done.  It’s a great time to streamline.

I’m keeping on keepin’-on with the socks.  I’m not entirely convinced the yarn doesn’t fight too much with the pattern, but at this point, I’m just going with it.

Good thing about being an adult #348, getting to have this for breakfast:

I call it Blueberry Crisp, but the real name is Blueberry Dessert Squares, so easy and so good!
